Nadaka too good at Morphettville

Aug 22, 2012

Lightly-raced four-year-old Nadaka has again showed his talent with a strong win in Wednesday’s Myer Handicap (1200m) at Morphettville.

The Class 1 affair was Nadaka’s second run back from a spell after the gelding did a few things wrong when a first-up third at Balaklava on August 8.

Stable jockey Clare Lindop partnered Nadaka again at Morphettville.

Nadaka travelled keenly midfield in the early and middle stages before rolling into the race easily approaching the home turn.

Nadaka sprinted quickly under Lindop’s urgings to open a good break on his opposition before he strode to his second win from six starts with earnings of more than $16,000 for his efforts.

Nadaka is the result of Beach Gal’s fourth mating with consistent South Australian stallion Akhadan.

Beach Gal is a daughter of the Group 3 Debutante Stakes winner Seaside Lady.

Congratulations to Mrs P J Macdonald and K F May, the owners of the Leon Macdonald homebred.
