The Stable has gone through a relatively quiet time as regard to the number of runners we have had recently but those we have had running around have kept the flag flying.
Dinkum Diamond was terrific through the carnival running an unlucky third in the Dequettville Stakes and a brilliant winner of the Janz a group 3 event. Many thanks to Yalumba for the donationj of champagne. She kept the flag flying for S.A being the only local winner on the day (Goodwood day) and Clare Lindop the only local jockey to taste success With natural improvement she could well measure up to the Melbourne spring
Counter Sign has been a model of consistency both in Adelaide and Melbourne and has done both the connections and stable proud
Juliet's Princess has been racing in great heart with three close seconds in both Adelaide and Melbourne at her past three runs. Let's hope she can break through soon
Southern Speed has returned to the stables looking big and strong after a well deserved rest at Mill Park to start a long preparation towards what will hopefully be a second Caulfield Cup
The appearance of Black Caviar in Adelaide was a great boost for S A racing and the SAJC should be congratulated on the excellent way in which they promoted it. I am sure that everyone wishes Peter Moodie, Luke Nolen, and the connections good luck in the U K.
Wishing all owners and followers of the stable every success and good punting in the following weeks
